"Happy New Year to all my sexy artists,

It’s hot, very hot, so what's the best thing to do when it's super hot? Yep, pluck and Englishman out of sub zero temperatures, and get him to play some Summer time Disco for a group of Australians.

Following on from the success of the Sleazy Beats Label night, we are again teaming up some friends of Blank Canvas who are both representatives from the label UNDER THE SHADE. For those of you unaware of UTS, they've released music from such artists as MARK E, BURNT ISLAND CASUALS, ILIJA RUDMAN, MUSHROOMS PROJECT, THE REVENGE, EDDIE C and many many more!

So, I guess you could say (and I will because I think Dad jokes are awesome) nothings cooler than sitting under the shade at the civic this summer.

This Englishman that we speak of is none other than TOBY TOBIAS who will be making his MAIDEN VOYAGE TO AUSTRALIA!

Toby is well known for making sultry lo-fi disco releases on Bear Funk, Rekids, Jisco, Tirk, and Tiny Sticks and remixing some of the scenes biggest and best such as John Daley, Todd Terje, Timo Mass, and Chamboche. With his work popping up on mixed releases left right and centre, including Satoshi Tomiie's amazing Renaissance Masters series seeing Tobys track 'Eleven' shine through, Toby is proving his worth in the low slung deep house/disco scene.

Our other representative from Under the Shade is a good friend of Blank Canvas and has a brand spankin new EP out on UTS which features the unanimously loved 'Meet me in Salt Lake City' tune makes us ver happy to announce the return of THE FRANCIS INFERNO ORCHESTRA!

Since his last visit back in July this kid has been everywhere! Releases on Dikso, Sleazy Beats, Wolf Music, and of course Under the Shade, have gained this kid world wide recognition for his work. If you missed him last time, you seriously do not want to miss it this time, because then you will say you have missed him twice, and, well, that would be a shame.

Both these guys have put out absolute killer 'Deepcasts' recently for The Melbourne Deepcast. With Toby showing some serious versatility in his wax selection and Francis showing knowledge beyond his years.
