Rory Phillips has become a name synonymous with London's nightlife, with over a decade of residencies under his belt at esteemed establishments including Erol Alkan's Trash, Durr, Our Disco as well as constant flight hopping gigs across the rest of Europe, North America and Asia.

Amidst the relentless disc spinning and crate digging, Rory Phillips has forged his signature sound. With an eye into the future and a foot firmly placed in electronic post-punk and disco sensibilities his sound represents a collection of synth driven tangents coming together into one cohesive and joyous celebration.

His production work has seen him remix a spectrum of high profile acts including The Scissor Sisters, New Young Pony Club, The XX, Chromeo, The Golden Filter, Gossip and The White Lies.

This eclectic body of work has been received with praise and love from his peers. In the past year alone artists like Erol Alkan, A-Trak, Aeroplane, Simian Mobile Disco, Joakim, Mylo, Alex Metric, Tiga and Soulwax have all featured Rory tunes in their sets.

Rory continues to push his sound with his original piece "Solar Breakfast" being released on In Flagranti's Codek Imprint.

The Generic Collective in Conjunction with Adult Disco are proud to present this tastemaker and beat maestro extraordinaire at the Civic Underground Saturday 23rd of October.
