Friendly Fires are Ed Macfarlane, Jack Savidge and Ed Gibson. One of the most exciting bands to have come out of the UK in the past few years Friendly Fires have received widespread critical acclaim for their Gold selling self titled LP on XL Recordings. In 2009 they were nominated for the Mercury Prize and they look set to continue their success in 2010 having been nominated for two Brit awards.

Friendly Fires deep affection for disco, house and techno music has seen them bring together their favourite DJ’s including Michael Mayer, Prins Thomas, HorseMeat Disco, Shit Robot, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Hot Chip DJ’s for their own club nights at The Warehouse Project in Manchester and The Coronet in London. This influence has also inspired the band to be hands on when picking remixers for singles. Artists such as Justus Kohncke, Aeroplane and Joakim have made sure Friendly Fires tracks reach dance floors across the world.

Friendly Fires will be playing a DJ set at Adult Disco along side the Future Classic DJs after Good Vibrations.
