Flight Facilities launched their mega huuuuuuge single Crave You at Adult Disco last July. Since then, this sun-kissed earworm that has amassed over 800,000 plays on Youtube and spawned 2010’s most unforgettable chorus featuring silk-voiced Melbourne songstress, Giselle and hit No. 19 on Triple J's Hottest 100. Aside from elegantly summarizing the city they both hail from, the Aeroplane-approved hit has received a Moopjaw directed music video with contributions from a transgender model and Karen O’s costume designer Christian Joy, mountains of blog love, praise of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and high rotation on Triple J.

The Swiss, meanwhile, released their debut EP Bubble Bath to a bangered-out dance world early last year heralding a new era in Australian dance music – one where the instruments didn’t play themselves. Yes, despite the growing number of dance bands led by backing tracks, The Swiss stand as a bona fide live act who fuse sumptuous synth work, liquid basslines and motorik drums to create dance music with soul. Music from heaven. Music so incessant and luscious it’s like getting beaten to death by a feather.

Its this storming live disco heat that is familiar to audiences catching newcomers Mitzi, a four-piece who have been injecting love into dancefloors in their home town Brisbane at Parklife and club shows with Tensnake, Bag Raiders and Little Dragon. Their debut 12 inch vinyl EP All I Heard was released worldwide in December by Future Classic with fans of their "lazy disco grooves and anthemic pop hooks" (Juno) including Jazzanova and Joakim among others.

Joining the fun will be connoisseur of the deeper things Simon Caldwell plus fire starters Graz, Softwar, Andy Webb and old fuddy duddy residents the Future Classic DJs.

Adult Disco has had the pleasure of bringing you acts and DJs such as Tensnake, Holy Ghost!, Joakim, Rory Phillips, The Revenge, Jacques Renault and Todd Terje to name a few. It’s home to disco, house, techno and bass music old and new, a lot of pink posters, a faithful dancefloor and a fantastic sound system.

It's all homegrown talent. And it's the biggest disco yet.
